Human Resources

The Personnel Office is your point of contact for everything related to personnel support and personnel development. Kirsten Ströbel is the contact person for all personnel issues relating to civil service and collective bargaining law, including W-pay in the area of professorships. She is responsible for personnel planning and recruiting and looks after the Academy's employees and those who would like to become employees.

The Academy of Arts Karlsruhe offers job opportunities in scientific/artistic areas and in administration. Students have the opportunity - if required by the class instructor - to be employed as assistants.

If you are interested in working at the Kunstakademie Karlsruhe, please contact us or send us an e-mail. We are pleased to introduce you to the diverse work opportunities at an art academy.

The main focus of Kirsten Ströbel's work is personnel management and support. She takes care of employment contracts, salaries and questions of collective bargaining law. She is responsible for all staffing procedures, substitute professorships and chair replacements, as well as the assignment of lecturers. Personnel development and training are coordinated in the Human Resources Department. The processing of service accidents and operational integration management are also part of the task area.

Partial task areas from the personnel department are also taken over by Nancy Bejìc-Pittman. These are the vacation and time registration of the employees, the contract design and accounting of student and scientific assistants and models as well as the accounting of guest lectures.

Lydia Cämmerer is responsible for business trip management and travel expense accounting, which are also anchored in the personnel department.
