Art needs an audience. In this sense, art lovers from the region and beyond are welcome guests at the Kunstakademie's exhibitions. This expands the artistic discourse, which is intensively cultivated internally.
Most presentations take place in the Lichthof, the Academy's exhibition space in the front building. These include the annual exhibition, the presentation of the results of the exchange students' studies, the exhibition of works by applicants for the state's graduate scholarships, or the Bachelor's exhibition. The summer exhibition can be seen in all buildings of the Academy, where visitors can take a look into the students' studios.
The master student exhibitions, on the other hand, take place in various art institutions in the state of Baden-Württemberg and are therefore also supported by the state's Ministry of Art.
The graduates, who are on the verge of becoming independent, are thus faced with the challenge of dealing with new spatial conditions.
