The teaching and administration of the Karlsruhe Art Academy is spread over several buildings. The largest part is concentrated in Karlsruhe's Weststadt between Moltke- , Reinhold-Frank- and Bismarckstraße. In addition, there is the branch in Schloss Scheibenhardt, which houses the studios of three classes and has workshops that are also supervised by the technical teachers of the main office.

The front and rear buildings at Reinhold-Frank-Str. 81/83 form the central campus. The largest parts of the studios and workshops are housed here. The atrium in the front building is the central exhibition space of the university. Lectures are also held in the front building, in the lecture hall on the first floor. Also on the first floor of the building is the student exhibition space, the so-called Kalinowski Room - as well as the student meeting place. Both rooms are managed by the AStA.

The students at Scheibenhardt Castle have to put up with somewhat longer distances. But they have their workplaces in a rococo castle in the middle of nature. The distance from the other buildings can be easily covered by bicycle.
