University Law

The in-house counsel, Heiderose Issem, is responsible for all legal questions and legal matters that arise. She works closely with the Chancellor, the governing bodies and the administrative departments of the Academy. The goal is always to find legally sound and practical solutions to the wide range of questions.

The responsibilities of the in-house counsel include advising the university's governing bodies and administrative departments, representing the Academy in legal disputes in and out of court, drafting, updating and publishing internal university regulations and guidelines, contract management - such as drafting, reviewing and assisting in the negotiation of contracts - and data protection.
