Alumni

The Karlsruhe Academy of Fine Arts is committed to maintaining contact with its alumni and strengthening their connection to the institution. The initiation of a functioning network is currently in preparation.

If you, as an alumnus/alumna, would like to be informed about our current activities, please sign up for the newsletter. Simply send an email to Ilona Günthner, who manages the alumni distribution list. This list also serves as the foundation for building an alumni community.

Anyone interested in contributing to the development of the alumni network is encouraged to contact the university's Communication Office.

Alumni Have Access to Certain Sections of the Intranet

The State Academy of Fine Arts Karlsruhe has had an intranet since the beginning of the Winter Semester 2024/25. It complements the information available on our website by including notices that are not intended for the public. As an alumnus or alumna, we would like to give you access to parts of the site that previously served as the Academy's platform. This includes exhibitions (former students/current students), announcements, job offers, and the section 'Search & Find,' which you can view and contribute to independently.

To access the intranet, click on the closed lock symbol in the upper-right corner of the Kunstakademie Karlsruhe website.

You will be directed to the registration page. Select your user category there:

Registration page for External Users and Alumni:
https://intranet.kunstakademie-karlsruhe.de/user-registration/registration-externe-und-ehemalige/

You can register using your private email address. However, before activation, a verification will be conducted to confirm that you are indeed part of the alumni group. Once this is completed, you will receive a response.

The main platform is now called BLACK BOARD. It is divided into four categories. You will see a portion of the entries immediately upon logging in and can delve deeper from there. A template is available for creating your own posts, where you can upload files.

We have made every effort to keep the registration and functionality processes as simple and user-friendly as possible. We hope this encourages you to sign up.

Or aren’t you curious about our new tool?

See you soon on the Black Board in the Academy’s intranet,
The University Communications Team

Note:
Even if you were previously registered on the old platform, you will need to register for the Black Board. The data has not been transferred.
