Change of Study Programme/ Field of Study

Change of Study Programme:

Students who are already enrolled at the Kunstakademie Karlsruhe and wish to change their programme must adhere to the application deadlines for the upcoming winter semester. The process is similar to applying for admission and is handled through the application portal. An admissions committee will decide whether the change can be approved.

The change from the Bachelor's Artistic Educator programme to the Diploma programme Fine Arts must be requested by no later than the 6th semester.

Change of Field of Study

A change of field of study for students from the field of Painting/Graphic Arts to Sculpture or vice versa is also possible and must be applied for through the application portal.
