Outgoing Students

Spending part of your studies abroad is highly recommended. The reasons for this are clear for art students: discovering an unfamiliar environment, engaging with different cultures, and adapting to new living conditions have a positive impact on personal development.

In the artistic field, this often triggers impulses in the thought and creative process, benefiting not only the individual but also the class to which these personal experiences are later shared.

Additionally, learning or reinforcing the local language not only simplifies access to the country and its culture but also expands communication, fostering mutual understanding. In our increasingly global world— particularly in the artistic field — this is an important aspect of intercultural competence.

For this reason, the Karlsruhe Academy of Arts maintains an intensive exchange with partner universities in both European and non-European countries.
