Scientific major - subject combinations
The Eduactors training programme consists of a Bachelor's and Master's degree programme, combining a Fine Arts major and a scientific major. In the Bachlor's degree programme, students study two majors, and in the Master's degree programme, an additional third major can be added.
The second scientific subject can be chosen from a range of cooperating universities:
The Institute of Technology in Karlsruhe (KIT) offers Biology, Chemistry, German, Geography, Mathematics, Physics, and Physical Education. Additionally, Computer Science and Philosophy/Ethics can be combined with Fine Arts at KIT.
The University of Mannheim allows the combination of Fine Arts with subjects such as German, English, French, History, Computer Science, Italian, Mathematics, Philosophy/Ethics, Political Science, Spanish, and Economics.
The University of Heidelberg provides the option to combine Fine Arts with German, English, French, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Protestant Theology, Geography, History, Italian, Jewish Religious Education, Latin, Philosophy/Ethics, Physics, Politics, Spanish, and Physical Education.
Please note the admission requirements and application deadlines at the cooperating universities. Since the two subjects are studied in parallel, travel times and the different formats of study organisation should also be taken into account when choosing a university for your second subject.
