The Student Parliament (StuPa)

The Student Parliament (StuPa) is composed of 16 members elected by students through a list-based voting system. Members of the AStA cannot be members of the StuPa. The StuPa decides on fundamental matters on behalf of the student body within the framework of self-governance. It addresses university policy issues, academic or interdisciplinary matters, and the scientific, social, and cultural concerns of students. The StuPa can establish advisory committees as needed if deemed useful. The meetings of the StuPa are open to the public, though a temporary exclusion of listeners for certain agenda items is possible.
